Our retreats draw on the knowledge and wisdom of ancient Tibetan Buddhist teachings and the finest knowledge of the modern world. Topics are based on the Core Teachings of Kum Nye; Skillful Means; Time, Space and Knowledge; and Buddhist Studies. (a definition of these is on our Retreat Description page).
Tapping into inner resources that each of us already possesses, our classes, workshops, and retreats facilitate a deeper appreciation for our potential to benefit ourselves, our communities and our world. .
Retreats are typically small and intimate by design, ranging from 10 to 40 participants, enabling everyone a direct experience with the teachings.
We welcome each of our retreatants not only as a guest but as a valued member of the community. Our programs are open to all without regard to religious affiliation. In most cases, retreatants share meals, kitchen clean-up and are encouraged to join in our work-practice at Yeshe De bindery where we print, and assemble sacred Tibetan texts, part of the largest free distribution of such texts in history.
One hundreded percent (100%) of our profits are used for the support and preservation of the Tibetan Buddhist teachings, culture and people.
